I love the mean lean on this remarkable tree and how you captured that here. Judging by the thickness of the trunk it's been around for a good many years, maybe more than a century and a mood about it that Yves described so well. A beautiful image, Clifford.

Nicely seen, described and captured Clifford. Taken at the dawn of a new day really adds to the story. That tree is definitely a survivor.

Awesome shot Clifford. Good choice to frame it portrait style for me to appreciate all the details of the old tree. The lighted cloudy horizon and the little puff of cloud in the top left gives a feeling of eternity. It sure express your description a beautyful way.
